Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 11 amβ9:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Tuesday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Spring Chinese Food at (315) 428-2222; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Syracuse is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Syracuse follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

An Absolute Gem I always look forward to ordering from Spring Chinese, especially because of the incredible woman who runs the kitchen. She is an exceptionally talented chef, and her chicken is always cooked to absolute perfection every single time she makes it. Beyond the amazing savory sesame chicken she also makes the best donuts aroundβalways served completely warm, fresh, and delicious. She is so lovely and kind on the phone when taking orders, the delivery arrives super fast, and she even went above and beyond to bring an order directly to me herself once. If you want fantastic food and lightning-fast delivery this is the place.

I used to order here a lot a while ago and it was amazing, I would drive from Liverpool to pick up because it was so good. It's been a few years, I saw them on Uber and got excited. Ordered my usual and was honestly so disappointed. General tsos chicken with lo mein, and crab Rangoon. The general tsos were hard as rocks, not enough sauce and the sauce tasted like it had fennel in it. Lo mein had zero flavor or vegetables, it was oil on noodles, that's it. The crab Rangoon used to be little balls, they are now triangles with no filling that were soggy. Will never order again unfortunately.

So yummy! Everything is on point. Bo bo platter...That fried crab stick was delicious as heck and I don't usually like crab stick like that. Boneless ribs...There's something really special in that sauce. Cashew chicken was absolutely delicious but had mostly peanuts with a few cashews for garnish. Possibly the best lo mein and fried rice in Syracuse. The fried chicken wings are second to the tastiest I've ever had. I got to know what that flavoring is that they marinate them in. So happy they have delivery with Uber eats now. I don't drive so I could never have it before. I remember those chicken wings from years ago when somebody went there and let me try their leftovers. I've been dying to have them again ever since and now I can!

So delicious! Everything was so tasty. Sesame chicken, lo mein, egg rolls (best I've ever had), BBQ pork tips, fried rice.
